ARARAS ECO LODGE – EXTENSION - SOFT ADVENTURE 1 NIGHT

For those who like to plunge a little deeper in the Pantanal Sanctuary, we propose this soft adventure, sleeping under palm tree roof, in hammocks with mosquito netting.

DAY 1 - TRECK & HORSE RIDE TO THE “BAFO DA ONÇA” CAMP

Horseback Riding After lunch, riding even further into the Grand Pantanal fields for another 2 to 3 hours, until the “Bafo da Onça” Camp, in the center of a large open grass field.

Enjoy this untamed environment with its sounds, warm wind and mysteries.

Lunch with the local settler. Enjoy your hammock siesta. Later in the afternoon explore the near by Marsh-deer Bay. Dinner

DAY 2 - RETURN SAFARIS TO THE LODGE AND TO CUIABÁ

Have breakfast with typical “Guaraná Powder” drink Be awaked by the morning jungle sounds. Have breakfast with typical “Guaraná Powder” drink.

Settle your horse for another ride trough new field and forest until the Corichão creek at the Little Araras Lodge.

Have a shower before lunch and get ready for your departure transfer to Cuiabá City or Airport. (B, L)

GENERAL INFORMATION

Capacity:	Maximum of 08 travelers.
Type / Level:	Ecotourism Type / Moderate Level Program.
Included:	1 overnight IN HAMMOCK at “Bafo da Onça” Camp Site at Araras Eco Lodge Reserve with dinner and breafast. All above mentioned activities.
Guide Languages:	English (with possibility of Spanish, German, Italian or French).
Not included:	Air tickets to/from Cuiabá. Beverages. Medical expenses and hospitalization. Any type of insurance.
Recommended Gear:	T-shirts, long sleeved shirt, sneakers or hiking boots, jeans or track suit, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, flashlight, camera and film. Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from June to September.

BAFO DA ONÇA CAMP

Location:	11 km from the Araras Ecolodge, in open field, part of the reserve.
Facilities:	- 3 Palm leaves roof construction, for hammocks and dinning; - Open shower; - Basic toilets; - Beautiful rustic presentation, in the style of the “old days”.
