PANTANAL, South America’s main wildlife sanctuary,
among unique and rare biological diversity is the PASSO
DA EMA RANCH LODGE (16º30’42,3” South latitude;
56º42’39,4” West longitude).
Built in harmony with the environment, it is reached
by car all year-round through the Transpantaneira Park
Road, 132 Km (82 mi) South of Cuiabá (Mato Grosso
Capital), 4,5 kilometers from Araras Eco Lodge.

this self sustainable lodge, you will have the opportunity
to do first-class bird-watching, trekking in a pristine
forest, canoeing, horseback ridding, jeep photo-safari
and much more, all under the assistance of expert bilingual
guides. |

 FACILITIES:
PASSO DA EMA RANCH LODGE, in rustic and regional
style construction, former wooden farmhouse of the cattle
ranch that has been transformed into a charming, exclusive
lodge on the margins of the Coricho river. |

 It
has 4 comfortable rooms with mosquito netting, ceiling
fan and private bathrooms (cold and hot shower).
Excellent regional food, cantine-style restaurant and
bar, large verandas with hammocks. |

ACTIVITIES: The
PASSO DA EMA RANCH LODGE offers a variety of
low environment impact activities, rich in adventure and
excitement:
TREKKING: Several
paths lead visitors to a close contact with its exuberant
and varied flora as well as wildlife;
HORSEBACK
RIDING: This is an excellent way to discover
the open-grass land and forest, regardless of flooded
or dry season;
JEEP PHOTO-SAFARI: For longer distances, day
and night wildlife spotting;
CANOEING
AND FISHING TRIP: Paddling or catch and release
fishing (piranha, dogfish) along the rivers are exciting
yet relaxing ways to enjoy this untamed nature;
LECTURE: After dinner, meeting
to discuss the day activities, the culture, the nature,
and particularities of the region.

From Cuiabá Airport to ARARAS ECO LODGE
12:30 pm and 16:30 pm.
From ARARAS ECO LODGE to Cuiabá Airport
08:30 am and 12:30 pm.
