| PANTANEIRO
HORSES |
| |
About
the Pantaneiros Horses: Those animals have been introduced
into the flooded Plains over 200 years ago, and developed
abilities to survive the 6 months flood, being able to
graze with there nose in the water. There roofs also have
suffered adaptation for such long period in wet land.
Due to those special requested the pantaneiros horses
are great swimmers, rather small, but active, smart
and a real pleasure to ride on.
They are working horses for the cattle breading, and
considered the pantaneiros cowboys, best friend. Notice
that they are ridden in the western style. |
