HORSEBACK RIDDING - 6 DAYS / 5 NIGHTS

PROGRAM CODE: HR 5.1

DAY 1 - Transfer Cuiabá - Poconé - Carandazal Farm (foresee 3h30” to 4h00” for this transfer).

Check in at CARANDA FARM, approximately 50 Km from Poconé, dinner and Overnight. Accessible by car from July to December.

DAY 2 - Discover the property on horseback or hiking, reaching the top of the only 85 meters high.

Hill in the plain, from where one can enjoy a extensive view of the Pantanal. Lunch, dinner and overnight at CARANDA FARM.

DAY 3 - Departure heading southwest to the margins of Bento Gomes River, Approximately 27 Kilometers on a 5 to 7 hours horseback ride, crossing of the river and arrival at São Cristóvão Farm.

DAY 4 - Departure by horse through 11 Kilometers towards Transpantaneira Park Road arriving at Bela Vista Farm.

Follow by safari vehicle to Passo da Ema Runch Lodge.

Check-in, Dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 - Exploring the surroundings of the Bugio reserve, witch can be explored by horse only or by combining trekking and horseback riding.

Lunch,In the afternoon visit to the observation tower at Araras Eco Lodge Dinner, and overnight at Passo da Ema Runch Lodge.

DAY 6 - After breakfast departure to Cuiaba’s airport.

NOTE: The night of day 5, can also be spent in a still further down Camp, the “ Jaguar Camp”, where guest will have the opportunity to sleep in “old days style”, i.e. in a teatch roof camp and in hammocks with mosquito netting. On the way back to the lodge there will be time for a good shower and changing, before departing to Cuiabá airport.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Capacity:	Minimum 04 pax; Maximum 08 pax.
Type / Level:	Ecotourism Type / Moderate Level Program.
Included:	02 overnights in the Pantanal – (Caranda Lodge), 01 overnight in the Pantanal (Sao Cristovao Lodge), 2 overnights in the Pantanal – (Passo da Ema Runch Lodge), Camp full board, activities similar to the above description and permanent assistance of an expert bilingual guide.
Note:	The activities described may be altered due to weather conditions, season or group make-up with the intent of maximizing your experience of the eco-system.
Not included:	Air tickets to/from Cuiabá. Beverages. Medical expenses and hospitalization. Any type of insurance.
Recommended Gear:	T-shirts, long sleeved, light colored pants and shirts, hiking boots or comfortable shoes one doesn’t mind getting all muddy, hat, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, binoculars, flashlight, camera and film. Sweatshirt or sweater recommended from June to September.
