DAY 1 - CUIABÁ

- Upon arrival at Cuiabá airport, be transferred to the Hotel


- Dinner and overnight in Cuiabá.

DAY 2 - TRAVEL TO VILA BELA

Vila Bela- After breakfast, departure in air conditioned vehicle, northwest of Cuiabá to Vila Bela. Enjoy crossing Savanna, farm land, rivers and the Amazonian Forest on 520 km of well paved federal road. Estimated trip, with stops, of 8h30m;

- Lunch at “Natural Aquarium “ Progresso farm ( 365 km from Cuiaba );

-Check in down town at local Inn, rooms are simple but include private bath and air conditioned rooms;

- Welcome drink;

- Dinner and overnight at the Inn.

DAY 3: DAY IN AMAZONIAN ENVIRONMET

Pink dolphins- After breakfast, we move to the bank of the Guaporé River, having in the horizont the shape of “Ricardo Franco” Mountain Chain;

- Morning canoe trip around the “Dolpin Island”, surprising the Spider and Holler Monkeys in there morning search of food. Good chance to swim with pink dolphins, drafting in the Guaporé’s warm waters;

- Explore the island to meet its fauna and flora;

- Lunch on the Island’s Restaurant;

- After a well deserved “siesta”, visit to the historical center of Vila Bela, its Historical Museum, ruins and archeological sites;

- Happy hour and dinner in town, meeting the locals;

- ( optional) Cultural presentations;

- Night at the Inn.

 
 
 
DAY 4: DISCOVER TRIP IN AMAZONIAN FOREST

Fauna and flora- Morning motor boat trip, down the Guaporé river for a closer view of its fauna and flora;

- 2h30m hike in Amazonian Forest;

- Bath and fish barbecue lunch at “Bené’s Bay” on Camp site;

- Rest in hammocks in the forest;

- Dinner and night at the Inn.

DAY 5: HIKE TABLELAND IN SAVANNA’S ENVIRONMENT


Ricardo Franco "State Park"- Visit to “Ricardo Franco” State Park;

- Walk its forest, hiking rocky path’s along creeks, waterfalls and natural swimming pools;

- Enjoy Valentine’s 70 feet tall cascade and take a bath in its beautiful lake;

- Visit a second smaller cascade, where we’ll indulge a home made picnic for lunch;

- On the way back visit the historical “ Zeferino Profeta’s” ranch and its ruins;

- Possibility to go for fishing;

- Back to the Inn for dinner and overnight.

DAY 6: DISCOVER TRIP IN AMAZONIAN PALM LAND


- Motor boat trip up the Guaporé and Alegre rivers and there channels. Travel trough huge “Buriti” Palm Forest, decorated with colorful macaws, toucans, egrets and many other wild life forms;

- Lunch at “Beira Rio” restaurant on the river beach;

- Afternoon visit Vila Bela’s hand craft Center;

- Dinner and night at the Inn.

DAY 7: DISCOVER TRIP TO PANTANAL LOWLANDS


- Drive along 60km of dirt road trough farm land, to historical “Casalvasco Velho” village and ruins, short walk and visit;

- Canoe trip trough the “Barbados” Bay and lowlands. Visit a traditional farm on Barbado’s Pantanal. Lunch, at the farm;

- Late afternoon return to the river. Dinner and night at the Inn.

DAY 8: RETURN TO CUIABÁ AIRPORT


- Last breakfast at the Inn, before leaving by air conditioned vehicle, back to Cuiabá;

- On the way, visit the historical center of Cáceres and have lunch on border of the Paraguay River, Pantanal’s main tributary;

- Arrive at Cuiabá Airport on time for your next flight;

- Assistance at the airport for check-in and formalities.

 
MINIMUM OF 04 MAXIMUM OF 16 GUESTS


Included: Return transfer from Cuiabá to Vila Bela. One night at a Hotel in Cuiabá. Six nights in Vila Bela da Santíssima Trindade at a local Inn. All meals as mentioned. Activities with permanent assistance of bilingual guides.


Not included: Air tickets to and from Cuiabá. Drinks, beside of water during meals. Other personal expenses.
